2008: the title of Professor, University of Lodz
1999: degree of habilitated doctor, University of Lodz, most of the experiments constituting the basis for habilitation were carried out in the team of prof. Adam Jaworski (Centre for Microbiology and Virology, Polish Academy of Sciences) and Dr. Johnjoe McFadden (School of Biological Sciences, University of Surrey, Guildford, UK). Title of the dissertation: “Mobile genetic elements of Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex as diagnostic and epidemiological tools.”
1990 – 1993 PhD degree in microbiology. University of Lodz, most of the experiments included in the dissertation were carried out in the team of prof. Adam Jaworski (CMiW PAN). Thesis title: “Molecular and genetic studies of fast-growing mycobacteria capable of sterol biotransformation”.
