3rd POL-OPENSCREEN Workshop

On May 9 and 10, 2023, the third edition of the workshops of the National Library of Chemical Compounds POL-OPENSCREEN took place. The topics of lectures conducted by representatives of Polish biotechnology companies as well as participants and partners of NLCC concerned mainly the issues of searching for new drugs and other bioactive compounds.

More than ten leading research institutes and universities have already started cooperation with NLCC, and more are planning to join in the near future. Strengthening cooperation between science and the pharmaceutical industry is of great importance in the context of knowledge and technology transfer. The integration of biology and chemistry can broaden the research perspective, accelerate the research process and the development of new drugs and other bioactive compounds that can be used in various fields of life, such as pharmacy, plant protection, food production or cosmetology.
